hexagons

Making progress on the hexagon quilt. I have decided this is the one for me:

Many, many hours of hand sewing:
The back with all the paper pieces looks as pretty as the front

My pin cushion

This is what it looks like where I work. The couch as a pin cushion. (Might be a good idea to look closely before you sit down. ) I'm sure the scissors have probably slipped between the cushions. The bees wax is for my thread so it doesn't tangle.

This is a raw edge circle quilt, baby size. I stole the idea from "Cluck Cluck Sew", so she totally gets the credit for this one. My fabric is charm squares I got fro Etsy and Ebay..
I later made a full size one. Pictures of that later.

At Home Far Away

This quilt is done in Westminister Fabrics, It is a traditional quilt in less than traditional colors. I am having a little love affair with Kaffe Fassett right now, as you can clearly see.I want this blog to be a record of the quilts that I make. You will see some of my older quilts here, as well as the new ones. I have really only been quilting for about 2 years. This one is my second full size quilt. It was pieced by me and quilted by a professional long arm quilter.
